Best Way To Make Money Online 2021 – Assured $8 /₹600 a Month Doing Nothing

In the recent times of online jobs and work from home, people are looking for the best way to make money online. As the pandemic progressed so is our use of the internet, we all spend so much of our time behind screens, So I’ll be showing you a way in which you can turn that screen time into money.

We’ll be showing an Application called Brave Browser which we’ll be using to make our 8$ a month doing absolutely nothing.

What is Brave Browser

Brave is a privacy-focused web browser that is available in Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Android, and IOS. Brave Browser is based on the chromium-browser engine (Browser is built with code from Google Chrome). Brave is made by the same team that is behind the CryptoCurrency BAT. Brave has several good features like tracking protection, ad blocking and several other security fixes that even chrome doesn’t yet have, they even went to the next level, writing an article stating why Brave is Better than Chrome.

Brave Rewards

Brave Browser has a feature called brave rewards in which brave users can earn BAT for viewing 3rd party ads. Brave serves only two types of ads, one is as a push notification with a title and a text with no image, and the other is a home page background. Brave gives 75% of the ad revenue for every ad viewed, and you can view a maximum of 5 ads per hour, up to 21 ads per day.

The ads are in no way linked to us and all brave users get the same ads. There is also an option to tip your brave rewards earnings to your favourite brave partnered creators.

Set Up Brave Rewards

Step 1: Download Brave and Install it.

Step 2: Open Brave and Select the Start using Rewards button, the steps are the same for both android and IOS

Step 3: Click on the triangle icon on the address bar and select the option, Reward Settings

Step 4: Scroll down and turn off auto contribute, else all your earnings will be automatically tipped to brave verified creators.

Your Brave rewards are now ready. During our use, we made 6 BAT in both our phone and PC that is around 1,500 Rupees or around 20 USD in a month.

Withdraw BAT from Brave

In PC, withdrawing BAT from brave is pretty simple, on the sixth day of every month your brave ad revenue will credit to your brave wallet, you can click verify wallet to transfer that BAT to your Uphold Wallet, from there you can transfer it directly to your bank account(Requires KYC verification).

In smartphone, it is a bit difficult as it requires a balance of 25 BAT to verify your wallet. There is a way you can get past this, I’ll be doing an article on that soon.

Whatsapp New Privacy Policy 2021 – Is It Really That alarming? Should you switch to Signal?

Whatsapp cannot access or see your messages, they are End to End Encrypted, that means only the sender and the receiver can see or read the plain text form of the message. Whatsapp Uses The Signal Protocol designed by Open Whisper Systems to encrypt their Messages (Encryption Protocol From the Signal App).

Recently Whatsapp users across the globe started getting a popup while using Whatsapp stating that there’s an update to their Privacy and policy, which users need to agree before 8th of February to continue using Whatsapp or else users should uninstall Whatsapp From their Phones. The new privacy policy brings some significant changes to how Whatsapp collect and use users data. You can read Whatsapp new Privacy Policy from here

The news of Whatsapp updating their terms and conditions have caused quite a controversy and tons of people switching from Whatsapp to a more secure solution like The Signal Messenger which is an open-source non-profit messaging app which offers better encryption and privacy.

In this article, we will cover all the details about the new updated privacy policy from Whatsapp and how it will affect us, users. We will also debunk all the myths that are floating around about the new update. We will also take a look at Signal Messenger and show you how it’s better from Whatsapp and other alternatives.

Whatsapp New Privacy Policy Update

Whats In The Whatsapp New Privacy Policy

Before going into the details, we’ll debunk the biggest myth that is floating around since the new privacy policy update. Some medias claiming that Whatsapp is no longer safe to convey your private messages is completely false.

The new updated privacy policy from Whatsapp aims at transparency on how Whatsaap collects and uses users data. Whatsapp will now share these data with facebook and could link this collected data with your facebook/instagram profiles to serve you more relevant ads.

Here are the list of information collected by Whatsapp

  • Your Account Info – Profile Picture, Mobile Number, Name, About
  • Undelivered/Forwarded Messages (Encrypted) – Frequently forwarded and Undelivered Messages are kept for 30 days, these messages are not in plain text form
  • Your Contacts – All the saved contacts in your phone
  • Status – Text or Media Status
  • Transactions And Payments Data – UPI and Payments data from Whatsaap Pay
  • Usage And Log – When you are offline/online, When about is updated, the time you use the app.
  • Location Information – Accurate/Approximate Location
  • Businesses On WhatsApp – Business can share your messages with them to a third party
  • Third-Party Service Providers – Share the above-collected data with Facebook and other third parties

All the above information were previously collected by Whatsapp, the only notable new change is their transparency about sharing their information with Facebook and third party. Here is the link to where you can read the previous privacy policy from Whatsapp and you can see for yourself which data they were previously collecting and sharing with third parties.

Conclusion About The Whatsapp New Privacy Policy

Even though Collecting these data by Whatsapp means less privacy, the recent controversy regarding Whatsapp is entirely based on some myths and rumours floating around about Whatsapp. As Whatsapp is a closed source app we can’t be 100% sure what happens behind the app.

So the conclusion is that Whatsapp is as safe as it was before, as they are not intercepting our messages and are end to end encrypted by their claims.

But if you are extremely cautious about privacy and don’t want Facebook collecting these data you can switch to an open source solution, Namely Signal.

Why Use Signal, How is it Better From Whatsapp

Signal is an open-source encrypted messaging platform that is available on Windows, Mac, Android, IOS. As the app is open source the entire code and working of the app is publicly available on Github, This means there is transparency in the privacy of the service and the tech community from across the globe can see the source code and report any problems or any privacy violations to the community.

Signal Android App

Signal has other privacy feature that Whatsapp lacks such as Screen Security, Disappearing Messages, Encrypted Chat backup and is completely secure. Even the Whistle Blower Edward Snowden has recommended signal messenger as it is secure.

If you are this concerned about your privacy, just enquire how much data your android phone collects and sends to google and how much data your Instagram and Facebook apps collect. Warning: you might throw your phone away 😉

Nearby Share, How to Activate?, The New Airdrop Equivalent for Android

Google recently rolled out its Nearby share feature, which lets you share files between android device without any trouble seamlessly. The android community has long been asking for an Android equivalent for IOS feature Airdrop. This announcement came not long after the government of India banned the two most used file transfer apps used here in India.

How Nearby Share Works

With Nearby Share, Android users can quickly share files to nearby users with the tap of a button. After tapping the “share” button in an app, users can share file(s) by selecting the “Nearby Share” option. Nearby users will then get a notification that someone wants to share content with them. Users will always have the option to “accept” or “decline” the file, so files are never transferred without explicit confirmation. After tapping “accept”, the file(s) are transferred using the best available communication protocol: Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy, WebRTC, or peer-to-peer WiFi. Thus, files can be shared even when the sender and recipient devices are both fully offline.

Nearby share works only if your contact is in the recipient’s phone, also we can change the visibility to a specific contact to further improve privacy.

We can choose who can share with us

Google announced that the nearby share functionality will roll out to Android users on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) and above through a google play service update. As of now, nearby share is available only for google play service beta users.

Get Nearby Share Now!

The easiest way to get nearby share on your android device is to sign up for the google play services bet program. Click on the link below and join the beta program.

Still Don’t Have Whatsapp Dark Mode, Here’s How You Can Get IT

WhatsApp was working on the long-awaited dark theme for a long time now. The wait is finally over, WhatsApp rolled out the dark theme for its beta users last day, if you are not a beta user and still want to have the dark theme, I’ll show you how.

The obvious way is to join the beta program in WhatsApp, but it is not easy as it seems, being the most popular app on the play store, the beta program is often full.

The next and the most often used way is side-loading the beta APK from other reliable sources such as apk mirror.

Don’t worry it’s perfectly safe, I’ve verified the apk from apk mirror with the one from play store and both are a perfect match.

Click HERE to go to apk mirror and click on the download button to download the WhatsApp beta apk.
After downloading, click and install the apk, no need to uninstall the existing WhatsApp, it’s just an update.

After the latest beta has been installed, open settings, chats, theme and select Dark.
Now your dark theme will be activated.
Share it with your friends who still can’t get the dark mode.

Poco F2 With Snapdragon 765 Coming Soon

The Successor to the famous Poco F1, The Poco F2 Lite is said to be released soon, here are the things we know about the upcoming Poco F2.

When the Poco F1 launched back in August of 2018, it made headlines all around the world, it was the first truly budget smartphone. It came with the Snapdragon 845 chipset and was priced under $ 500. So there’s a reason why there is so much anticipation on the upcoming Pocophone.

Also, a new announcement from Xiaomi made us aware that Poco will now completely be a separate brand like Vivo and Oppo (Oppo is entirely owned by Vivo mobiles, but they are kept as a separate brand without any relation between them). The release of the new Poco will be surely different than the previous one because of it becoming independent.

There are no official announcements on the upcoming Poco, all the information we have right now is from leaked images and from unofficial sources. All the leaked images of the phone show that it will have teardrop notch. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 765 chipset.

Leaked Image Of Poco F2 Lite

This image shows that the phone will be called The Poco F2 Lite, it could mean only one thing, there could be a different pro variant that could pack more features and could cost more than the initial variant. Talking about the software the Poco F2 will probably run on Android 10 right out of the box.

Following the leaked images, we can expect the Poco F2 Lite to be released soon. After all the entire details can only be known only after the official announcement from Poco.
