LG Wing- A Swivelling Dual Display Phone With Gimbal Mode, A New Smartphone Form Factor
LG has introduced a new smartphone form factor into the market with its new T-shaped mobile the LG Wing, The LG Wing is the first device from LG’s explorer project which aims to implement new form factors in smartphones to explore undiscovered usability concepts
The LG Wing is a dual-screen smartphone, unlike the typical foldable screen type we’ve seen in the recent Samsung fold or the Moto razor, LG has taken it a step further by including a Swivel Design, rotating the primary display at an angle of 90-degrees gives way to the second smaller display. The T-shape design also improves the multitasking functionality of the device.
Several use cases of the T-shaped design are listed on the LG Wing’s official Website, You can watch videos in the primary display and use it’s player controls on the secondary display or use a messaging application on the small screen while gaming on the bigger primary display. Multi-tasking on android has been taken to a whole new level by LG with this revolutionary form factor. The possibilities of how you can use this are unlimited.
